About the Camps
Our camps serve to prepare kids ages 6 to 18 for the challenges of growing up as a student athlete. Basic and advanced baseball skills and drills will be used to improve each participants’ baseball proficiency. The camp will focus on teaching every aspect of the game through individual, fundamental and group instruction. All instruction will be designed so it is appropriate for the age group being instructed.

Players will be organized by age with approximately 15 players on each team. Camps will cover all aspects of the game to include: hitting, pitching, bunting, fielding, throwing, catching and base running.
 It is a strong belief at Steve Braun’s baseball camps that the camps are only as good as it's instructors. Steve suggests that every parent when choosing a baseball camp asks themselves the question “who will be coaching my child on a daily basis?” You can be assured only experienced qualified professional coaches will instruct your child. We are proud of the diversified staff of professional coaches, high school coaches and college players we have assembled.


Individual Instruction: Position training and hitting will be taught daily. Players will be given individual instruction in the positions they choose including pitching. Instruction will be taught by professional coaches and former pro-players.
 
Fundamental Training: Using our station format players will receive intensive training on the fundamentals of hitting, ground balls, fly balls, base running, sliding, form running and coordination agility training. Instruction will be taught by experienced high school coaches and talented college students.

Group Sessions: These short sessions will include group clinics, videos and visits by various speakers. Various subjects will be addressed such as: living a healthy life style, being a student athlete, being a good citizen, and the importance of being dedicated to personal goals and dreams.

Team Games: Team games will be played daily. Coaches will supervise the games and stop the games when needed to instruct and correct improper plays.

*Note: Full Day Camp: Campers are required to bring their own lunch. Drinks will be provided.
Extra Innings Program (full day camp): To provide parents with flexibility, campers can be picked up anytime between 3:30 to 5:30 for an additional fee of $25.00.
